General Manager
We’re looking for a well-rounded retail management professional, experienced in retail sales, responsible for delivering the business plan.

Your primary goal is to execute the business plan (sales, range, financials, locations), ensuring plans are resourced and executed well & sustainably. As GM, you will develop and implement a Board agreed strategic plan with initiatives and priorities that drive fiscal goals (gross margin, investment, profitability), market goals (store locations and growth) and customer experience goals (expectation, satisfaction and advocacy).

Your purpose is to grow shareholder value by delivering upon the vision and strategy. You will shape the right culture, values and behaviours, of the management and overall team to make babycity® the best baby goods shopping experience and most recognised New Zealand baby goods retailer. A major focus will be on engaging, motivating and leading the team to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, with a customer-centric culture in a fast paced and challenging retail environment.

Store Manager
Lower Hutt, Wellington

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, customer focused manager, to coach and build a great team while gaining growth and skills for themselves.

The store is located in Lower Hutt.

Our Managers have room to grow their commercial acumen - owning their store's performance from top line sales through to profit performance. It's more than just rostering and opening the store, our managers are supported to develop their savvy business mindset and understanding of the key metrics that contribute to a profitable store.

To succeed in this role you will be focused on Customers and profitable growth. You will enjoy:

We value excellent product knowledge and providing customers with the best guidance and advice, and provide permanently appointed managers with training to become Certified Child Restraint Technicians.

    This is a retail role so you will be required to be to work your share of weekends, late nights and public holidays.
