Should you change your mind, we are happy to exchange your items at any of our physical stores, within 14 days with proof of purchase, providing the items are in their original condition.
If you cannot get to one of our physical stores, you can post any item purchased online back to us within 14 days of receiving your order, and we will provide you with an exchange for the purchase price of the returned item/s. Exchanges sent back to us via courier or post are at the expense of the customer.
For Hygiene reasons we cannot return some items such as potties, toilet trainers, breast pumps etc.
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with any product, please return it to us at any one of our branches nationwide, in original condition and within 14 days with our receipt (proof of purchase) and we will replace it or refund your purchase price using the original payment method.
Babycity will accept returned product where:
- The product is faulty or not of merchantable quality, or
- The product is not fit for the purpose, or
- The product does not match the sample or description
If the items are faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 to provide a remedy.
Unfortunately, we do not refund for incorrect choice. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for any further questions you might have.
Items returned outside the 14 day timeframe
All goods may be exchanged for a store credit note within four weeks from date of purchase provided the goods have not been used and are in their original packaging. You can exchange items at any Babycity store with your receipt of purchase. Exchanges sent back to us via post or courier are at the expense of the customer.
All Liability Excluded
If the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 applies, you may have rights or remedies which are not excluded nor limited by the above. If you are using this Site or its content for business purposes, the above exclusions and limits will apply and the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 will not apply.
We will take action, within a reasonable time, to correct any error or inaccuracy which is brought to our attention.
